Not to argue, but I'm pretty sure gas prices were bad before the war.

EDIT: To clarify, I mean in Britain, not the US.

The war hasn't helped, certainly, but it's not the only cause.

Or do I need to put new batteries in my sarcasm detector?

Gas prices are ten times what they were when I started driving.

I make about 20 times what I made per hour back then.

Gas is pretty cheap looking at it that way.

Are internet cafes popular? I always thought people can wait until they get to their house or office to log on to the net.

I just bought myself a drawing tablet and I've noticed a HUGE difference in my art work when I didnt have one.

I don't know we really don't have any around here so I couldn't tell you. Just them being lazy I guess, not wanting to drive the rest of the way home to get on. Or maybe they don't have the internet at home, who knows.

hubby and I played yet another round of alien crossfire until he had to get ready for work

......then I went to sleep---he went to work!! got up around 2pm...ah nice to be unemployed sometimes.

and gas prices....egad I remember when I used to complain about them going over $1/gallon.....decades ago---yeah things have changed.
